Paul found his artistic calling at a young age, through his grandfather’s cherished film cameras. He embraces the vintage allure of analog photography, using the intentionality of the medium to capture the authentic stories of the people and places he encounters. For the past four years, he has combined his passions for analog photography and cycling through Slow Spin Society, a platform he founded to document bicycle subculture which welcomed over 100.000 unique visitors last year. A selection of his photographs is featured in the book Love Letter Turbo published in 2024 by French Press. He has presented three solo galleries in Tokyo, the latest of which was “Where were you?” in winter 2025. In his free time, he enjoys listening to podcasts and sipping coffee on the backstreets of wherever he happens to be.
